On December 21, 2022, three days after the consecration at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Scaloni, 45, was received with honors in Pujato and that day the communal president, Daniel Quacquarini, promised to name one of the streets of the town belonging to the Department of San Lorenzo.
Finally the promise came true and since this week one of the three streets of Plaza de las Américas, in the heart of the Las Ranas neighborhood, bears his name: “Lionel Sebastián Scaloni.”
The brand new “Lionel Scaloni”, which can be visited and photographed by the 4,000 inhabitants that Pujato has and all the tourists, who after the consecration in Qatar come to see the town of the champion coach, has only one block and is among the Simón de Iriondo and Lisandro N. Alem streets.
