The holder of the UEFA A license has previously worked at the Wels State Training Center as well as at FC Juniors Oberösterreich and LASK as an assistant coach and video analyst. The 31-year-old from Upper Austria completed a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy and primary school teaching. With immediate effect, Rosza will advance the development of the scouting strategy including implementation based on the game idea and the associated position profiles in coordination with sports director Christoph Schösswendter and will be involved in the sporting squad planning. In order to ensure close coordination between the sports director and the coaching team and to know the team and its requirements as best as possible, he will also support the coaching team.
Toni Mestrovic will also expand the coaching team as a video analyst and also the club’s scouting. Mestrovic has the UEFA-B license and completed training in game analysis. The 23-year-old from Upper Austria completed a successful internship at FC Blau-Weiß Linz and is now a permanent part of the fighting team’s coaching team. The previous assistant coach Ronald Riepl has been working full-time for FC Blau-Weiß Linz in these functions since January 1st.
“Important step”
“I am very pleased that we can take a first important step in the area of scouting by signing Daniel Rozsa. Daniel has already worked in several positions in professional football and, despite his young age, brings a lot of experience and know-how with him. We are still at the very beginning, especially in the area of scouting, but this offers us the opportunity to work together and plan together to establish a system and develop a strategy to get the best possible out of our circumstances. In addition, Daniel will broaden the coaching team and complement it perfectly in order to advance the daily work even more professionally and to achieve the maximum here too. Toni Mestrovic, who has been part of the coaching team since August and has left a very good and committed impression, will now support the entire coaching team in various areas of activity,” says sports director Christoph Schösswendter.
Managing director Christoph Peschek says about the personnel decisions: “We want to create the best possible framework conditions to achieve our sporting goal of establishing ourselves permanently in the Austrian football Bundesliga. I am therefore pleased that we are taking the next steps towards further professionalization of the club. Overall, we are on a very good path as a club, but of course there are still some tasks and challenges to be overcome and we are committed to taking additional steps towards further professionalization.”
