In defense, the three central defenders are: Marco Di Cesare (Argentinos Juniors), Valentini (Boca) and Aaron Quirós (Banfield), while the full-backs will be Gonzalo Luján (San Lorenzo), Julián Malatini (Defensa y Justicia), Joaquín García (Vélez) and Lucas Esquivel (Athletico Paranaense).

For the midfield there is the bulk of the squad with Federico Redondo (Argentinos Juniors), Ezequiel Fernández and Cristian Medina (Boca), Juan Sforza (Newell’s), Thiago Almada (Atlanta United) -he will also be the captain-, Claudio Echeverri (River), Juan Nardoni and Baltasar Rodríguez (Racing) and Valentín Barco (Brighton of England).

Finally, the team’s four forwards will be Francisco González (Newell’s), Pablo Solari (River), Luciano Gondou (Argentinos) and Santiago Castro (Vélez).

The Argentine team will debut with Paraguay on January 21 in the city of Valencia, while for the second date they will play against Peru on the 24th of the same month and will be free on the third date on the 27th.

Meanwhile, on January 30 they will face Chile and will close Group B on February 2 against Uruguay.
