FC Bayern Munich will play the Bundesliga home game against TSG Hoffenheim without new signing Eric Dier. The 29-year-old defender is not in the squad of the German soccer record champions.
Dier, who will be officially presented in Munich on Saturday, was only signed by Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
For the second-placed team’s game, which is dedicated to the memory of Franz Beckenbauer, who died on Sunday, coach Thomas Tuchel will be without Leon Goretzka in the starting line-up.
