Behind the world champion, who won the sprint in a group of three, four Austrians finished second to fifth in Oberstdorf on Saturday. Ramsau double winner Johannes Lamparter missed his next success in second place by one second. Third-placed Stefan Rettenegger was 3.3 behind.
Thomas Rettenegger (4th) and Franz-Josef Rehrl (5th), who were leading after the jumping, were already considerably behind. Riiber celebrated his fifth win of the season, his 62nd overall. A compact competition follows on Sunday in the Allgäu.
