Gerard Pique spoke about the difference between FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich and expressed criticism of the former club leadership.
“The management of the club is very simple,” said Pique at the press conference when asked why Munich have been so much better than Barca in recent years.
Pique alluded to the machinations of the former president Josep Maria Bartomeu (2014 to 2020), who led the club into a difficult financial situation. In an interview in September, Pique called Bartomeu one of the worst presidents in the club’s history.
