The best tennis player in the world had a tense moment during his second round match at the Australian Open, where he crossed paths with a local fan in the stands. First he exchanged words and then he went to celebrate his victory in his face.

Novak Djokovic lived an unusual day in the Australian Open. It took the best tennis player in the world 4 hours to defeat the local team Alexei Popyrin (AUS) by 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (7/4), 6-3. But that wasn’t the only thing. Although the tournament has just started (2nd round), the Serbian tennis player has already lost his temper when he crossed paths with a local fan.

During the great game against Popyrinwith great weather in the stadium, a spectator who was in the stands – near the court – shouted something to Novak Djokovic which bothered him a lot.

Like almost never before in his career, the world number 1 did not let him pass and showed a defiant posture: he faced the fan and gestured for him to come down and fight. “Do you want to come here? Come and say it to my face”answered Djokovicirritated.

But that was not all. Once he won the last point of the match, “Nole” turned around and attacked that section of the stands with a vehement celebration, dedicating the victory to his “other rival” during the second round of the Australian Open.
