Brighton made the hiring of Valentín Barco official until June 2028

The full-back had been separated from Boca Juniors after executing the termination clause of his contract.

Brighton & Hove Albionclub in the first division of English football, made official this Saturday the hiring of the young Argentine full-back Valentine Boat. After formalizing his separation from Boca Juniorsthe player signed for four and a half years with the English club.

“We are pleased to confirm the signing of Valentín Barco from Boca Juniorswho joins with a four and a half year contract until June 2028!”, the club posted on the social network X (ex Twitter) along with other publications with training clothes of the Argentine national team and another with an elusive video of the hiring process.

Barco, 19 years old, will be incorporated to his new Premier League team when he finishes his participation in the South American Pre-Olympic which will start this Saturday In Venezuela and will be disputed until February 11.

Ship will be the ninth Argentine footballer in Brighton’s history and he will share the squad with his compatriot Facundo Buonanotteformer Rosario Central midfielder.
