The team was created under the name Toro Rosso from the Minardi team in 2005 and was called Alpha Tauri since 2020.

“Faenza is entering a new era of racing,” said team managing director Peter Bayer, referring to the Red Bull sister team’s headquarters in Italy.

The regular drivers this year will remain the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo from Australia. The new racing car will be painted to reflect the new commitment and will be presented on February 8th in Las Vegas.
