The 21-year-old was signed by the North Macedonian first division club Shkendija Tetovo and will be loaned out directly to the Norwegian second division club Aalesunds FK. The athletes announced this in a broadcast on Thursday.
He has a long-term contract with the Black and Whites.

The 24-time U21 international made his debut for his country’s senior team in October 2022. Due to the year-round championship being held in Norway, the loan contract in Aalesund runs until December 31, 2024. Maksimov is expected to gain further match practice there.
“With Metodi, we were able to sign an extremely exciting player who fits our profile very well. We are pleased that we were able to sign him on a long-term contract. It was important to us that he had the opportunity to gain further match practice in order to develop accordingly,” sports director Radovan Vujanovic was quoted as saying.
