“I put everything on one card”
As 35th among 47 athletes who competed, Manuel Fettner did not make it to the next rounds in the first round; only the top 30 progressed. The Tyrolean botched the competition jump and only managed 158 m. “I put everything on one card. After the table, I did something that I shouldn’t have done,” said the 38-year-old in an ORF interview.
Last year’s Kulm World Cup winner Halvor Egner Granerud was also eliminated after just one flight. The Norwegian was one of three athletes who were disqualified after the suit measurement.
