FC Bayern Munich: Players visit fan clubs – Kane celebrated in Kirchweidach

The FC Bayern stars are making up for their fan club visits that were postponed in December due to the winter weather. Kane experiences completely new things in the Upper Bavarian idyll.

Harry Kane was amazed and in good spirits. As part of the Bayern stars’ fan club visits, the FC Bayern Munich super striker was loudly celebrated by hundreds of fans in red and white in the tranquil Kirchweidach in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting.

After a reception with hearty brass music, the 30-year-old Englishman took part in a Bavarian mini-Olympics with pushing beer mugs, hammering in nails and a guessing game with Bavarian terms.

“I haven’t heard the place name before,” said Kane, politely answering the many questions. Even the one after a title. “Yesterday was good for us. We have to stay focused, then we have a very good chance of winning a title.” But there is still a long way to go. Leverkusen had played 0-0 against Borussia Mönchengladbach the evening before. In the table, Munich are two points behind the Werkself and both are still playing against each other.

Kane had scored again the day before in the 3-2 win against Augsburg after two games without scoring. In a good mood, he answered the many questions at the “Die Roten” fan club, signed autographs and was the subject of countless souvenir photos and films. Around 30 media representatives, including from England, came to the premiere for Kane.
