Ice hockey: Goal and assist from Stützle: Senators turn NHL game around

After one third, the Ottawa Senators are down 0-3. The team doesn’t give up against the Nashville Predators and turns the game around – with a national player in a crucial role.

With national ice hockey player Tim Stützle playing a key role, the Ottawa Senators turned around a three-goal deficit in the NHL. The team from the Canadian capital won 4-3 after overtime against the Nashville Predators.

Stützle made it 2-3 and set up Claudio Giroux’s winning goal in extra time. He now has 11 goals this season and 36 assists. For the Senators it was the fourth win in the last seven games; despite the upswing, the team is still at the bottom of the table in the Eastern Conference in the National Hockey League.
