Puls 4 would have had until yesterday, January 31st, to exercise the option to extend the contract. According to the ICE Hockey League’s broadcast, this was not noticed. This means that the “free TV package,” which includes the top games of the regular season and the playoffs for the coming season, is “available for marketing again.” Puls 4 broadcast a game live every week on the special interest channel Puls 24 and in the JOYN app.

League President Jochen Pildner-Steinburg: “On behalf of the win2day ICE Hockey League, I would like to thank Puls 4 and its ‘ice hockey team’ for their professional work over the last four years together. With great professional competence and a lot of passion, you depicted the league product and brought it home to our fans.”

General meeting about repositioning the league

At an extraordinary general meeting today, the league executive board and club representatives discussed, among other things, how the league should be repositioned. The discussions were mainly about the organizational structure and the statutes. A large-scale campaign is planned for the upcoming anniversary season, 25 years after the new company was founded in the summer of 2000/2001.

The topic of licensing was also discussed. All clubs agreed to an evaluation for a practical licensing process.
