In front of 3,707 spectators, the Linzers went 0-1 behind in the 26th minute, but really found their way into the game from the 30th minute onwards and didn’t let setbacks get them down:

  • In the 34th minute, the Black Wings survived a penalty against returning MacKenzie – and in a confident manner.
  • In the 37th minute, Lebler captured the puck in the neutral zone, which found its way via Andreas Kristler to Sean Collins, who coolly slotted the ball past Harvey to make it 1-1.
  • When Blake Parlett was sitting in the cooler just a minute later, Logan Roe scored with the advantage to take the lead 2-1 (38./pp).
  • In the 46th minute, Christian Thomas raced down the right flank, crossed into the middle and beat Tirronen to equalize 2-2.
  • Andreas Kristler then scored twice to take the lead 3-2 (48./pp2).
  • Just under six minutes before the end, Bozen equalized again through Domenico Alberga to make it 3-3.
  • Just 87 seconds after the 3:3, Andreas Kristler made an exemplary pass to Sean Collins in the attacking third and he scored to make the final score 4:3.

Above all, the strong performance of the front row and the special teams were a key to success for the Linzers.

On Sunday (5:30 p.m., live ticker on nachrichten.at) the Linzers will be visiting the Vienna Capitals, who they have clearly beaten three times this season – 5:2, 4:1, 8:1. Will the fourth prank follow?
