The International Federation of History and Statistics (IFFHS) announced the ranking of the best clubs in the 2023 and there were several Argentine clubs within the top 100.
Surprisingly, neither River Plate (champion of the Professional Football League 2023 and the Champions Trophy 2023), nor Boca Juniors (Finalist of the Copa Libertadores), they are ranked as the best Argentine team.
