She is said to already own an apartment in Innsbruck with her boyfriend Alexander Aamodt Kilde. But will Mikaela Shiffrin soon move her residence to Ramsau am Dachstein or the surrounding area? In any case, the speculation surrounding the 28-year-old American is centered on this region. According to the “Kleine Zeitung”, the rumors, which have not yet been officially confirmed, say that Shiffrin is currently exploring the real estate site or, alternatively, is looking for a building site.
Kilde with many connections to Ramsau
Kilde in particular has had many connections with the location of the Nordic World Cup in 1999 since childhood. He spent a lot of time with the family of Wolfgang Mitter, the then World Cup OK boss. His son Mark is part of Shiffrin’s support team and enjoys training at the nearby Reiteralm. Mitter doesn’t know anything about Shiffrin’s plans to move permanently to Upper Styria, “but I would be very happy.”

The Ski World Cup record winner is currently undergoing rehabilitation. Shiffrin flew off the track in the first Cortina descent on January 26th and landed in the safety net. The overall World Cup leader got off lightly with an inner knee ligament injury and wants to make her comeback shortly. “Work in progress,” she recently wrote in a video on the Internet platform “X,” which shows her lifting weights. Her injured left knee is only lightly secured with tape.
