Employee accuses: Investigations against Red Bull team boss Horner

It is unclear what Horner is accused of, but there is talk of “inappropriate behavior.” According to “f1-insider” information, rumors about Horner’s misconduct arose during the Hahnenkamm ski race in Kitzbühel. In addition to Christian Horner, other influential Formula 1 personalities were among the guests: McLaren CEO Zak Brown and Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff. What exactly Horner is accused of is currently unclear.

“De Telegraaf” quoted the following statement from Red Bull: “Following the recent allegations, the company has launched an independent investigation. This investigation, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist lawyer. Horner, who allegedly denies the allegations, is presumed innocent.

Last fall, rumors about a broken relationship between long-term Red Bull advisor Marko and team boss Horner were making the rounds. But the internal power struggle should not play a role in the new allegations. Horner has been team boss since the Red Bull team was founded in 2005 and is therefore the longest-serving member in Formula 1.
