CSKA football club will compensate fans based on the results of the matches of Tinkoff of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Zenit and Arsenal. This is stated in a message published on December 11 on the team’s website.
The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) two days earlier punished CSKA for not providing security during the match against Zenit on November 28, when after the end of the meeting the fans of the red and blue lit several dozen flares. The FTC explained that the football club will close the A stands for two home matches, as well as pay the imposed fines.
“We cannot leave the situation that occurred at the last home games with Zenit and Arsenal without attention and we ask the fans to accept our apologies and to familiarize themselves with the stipulated compensation,” CSKA said in a statement.
Thus, visitors to Sectors 203–206 of Stand A at the CSKA-Zenit match will receive a certificate for 2,000 rubles to the official store of the red and blue. In addition, they have a 12% discount for the next season.
At the same time, for those who own a season ticket, but did not get to the CSKA-Arsenal match, a refund is provided equivalent to the cost of attending this game or a 7% discount on a season ticket for the next season, which exceeds the cost of attending the match.
