Swimmer Angelina Köhler has underlined her ambitions for a World Cup medal in Doha. The Berliner swam best times in both the preliminary and semi-finals of the 100 meter butterfly, which also meant German records.
After clocking 56.41 seconds in the morning, the 23-year-old improved this mark by three tenths of a second to 56.11 in the semifinals. She was the only swimmer to stay under the 57-second mark. “I love this pool here, I’m perfectly prepared. I’m no longer the weakest, I can keep up and swim away from the others on the second lane,” said Köhler.
