The fire department was alerted to a fire in the sports complex. A heavily smoked technical room was found on site. A fire broke out in the area of a control cabinet for reasons that are not yet clear. The emergency services carried out extinguishing measures, checked the affected area and ventilated the rooms.
Due to the power outage, the floodlights also went out – which is why training on the sports fields had to be stopped. The approximately 50 football players present were able to get their belongings from the changing rooms after the fire department had illuminated the area.
