At the spring kick-off in the Bundesliga last Sunday against Klagenfurt (2:2), Moussa Kone played for the athletes from the 68th minute onwards, and from now on he is storming in Slovakia: LASK gave the 27-year-old on loan until the end of the season First division team Dunajska Streda.
Just last summer, Kone signed with the Black and Whites until 2027, recommending goals for FC Zurich, Dresden and Nimes. He kept up with the training deficit for practically the entire fall, repeatedly slowed down by injuries. Kone played in 15 competitive games and was in the starting line-up five times. He scored his only two goals in the first round of the Cup in Röthis (6-0).
“Completely convinced of his qualities”
Kone should make a new attempt at Dunajska Streda. “We remain completely convinced of Moussa Kone and his qualities. Nevertheless, in the current phase it was important for him to find a club where he can get more match practice and gain self-confidence in the next few months,” explained sports director Radovan Vujanovic. “We hope that he can fully exploit his potential there.” Then perhaps next season he can be the reinforcement that LASK had already hoped for in the summer.
