Horner is said to have been questioned by lawyers for eight hours at the headquarters in Milton Keynes last Friday. This was because he had been accused of cross-border behavior towards an employee. The Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf” detailed these accusations, which Horner staunchly defends himself against.

The man, who is married to ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell (51) and has a 7-year-old son with her, is said to have sent sexually suggestive messages over a long period of time. The victim reported this incident in December. Internal investigations were then initiated at the initiative of the group headquarters.

According to De Telegraaf, Horner, who is presumed innocent, wanted to cover up the matter. He offered the employee 650,000 pounds (the equivalent of almost 760,000 euros) so that she would keep the incident secret. This is said to have happened shortly after Horner learned of the first internal investigation.

Horner said Thursday: “There have been a few allegations that I absolutely deny. I follow the rules of the process and there is a process. I can’t say anything beyond that, it’s a private process for the company.”
