Federico Pizarro, reference of the Argentine handball team, reported through social networks that he is experiencing a worrying contractual situation in the Fahaheel club, from Kuwait.

The Argentine international right-back said goodbye to Rebi Cuenca on February 1 after three and a half seasons at Ciudad Encantada. An irrefutable offer at the age of 37 made him sign for the Al-Fahaheel SC of Kuwait, terminating his contract with the Cuenca club.

The National Team figure assured that one of the conditions for signing a contract with Fahaheel was that, out of his own pocket, he had to pay the exit clause of his previous club and this money would be paid to him along with his first salary. But that payment never came.

“I am still in Spain without an answer and the president refuses to meet with the representatives,” said Pizarro, who added that a few days ago he received a call from the club manager since “miraculously” his visa was approved, and he asked him to be he himself who pays for his trip. But now they still don’t give him an answer.

“I have recordings of calls, chats and audios from the club manager, official visa requests and the contract signed by me. I also have witnesses to all this mistreatment,” he stated at the end.

Pizarro published a letter on his social networks, asking for help from the International Handball Federation: “I have a contract signed 1 month ago. I understand that the club is within its rights not to want to continue with the contract but that they force it to fulfill its part,” he revealed.

“According to what was agreed in article 12 of the contract, if the club cancels the contract, it must pay me 2 months and give me freedom and in my case the money that they have forced me to pay out of my pocket is added to pay my exit clause. from my club in Cuenca”, he concluded.
