“It’s unbelievable. I’ve already been able to experience that in Villach, now also there in Hinzenbach, winning twice at home. And now to be on the podium twice with Jacqui, that’s just cool,” said Pinkelnig, who now has already moved up to second place in the overall World Cup.

For her coach Thomas Diethart it was also a 32nd birthday present. “Absolutely, I still have to tell the stadium announcer that we’re all still singing Happy Birthday together,” said Pinkelnig. She will now take second place overall. “I’ve never been good at arithmetic. I’m pretty good at ski jumping, that’s what I concentrate on,” she said in an ORF interview.

Seifriedsberger was also happy, especially with the second round. “That was a really cool jump, there was too much violence in the first one. I generally don’t get into trouble. I’m happy with what’s happening at the moment. Standing on the podium isn’t an everyday occurrence, especially twice at home.”

As the third-best Austrian, Lisa Eder made it into the top ten thanks to an 87.5 m set in the second round. Eder improved from twelfth to seventh place.
