The individual races at the Biathlon World Cup in Oslo, Norway have been postponed again due to persistent bad weather.
As the world association IBU announced, the women’s competition should only start at 1 p.m. instead of 12.30 p.m. as planned. The men’s competition was initially pushed back by 15 minutes to 3:45 p.m. The reason for the new scheduling is once again thick fog at Holmenkollen.
On Thursday, the women’s race had already been postponed by one day because the weather conditions did not allow a regular start. The visibility at the shooting range was too poor and there was continuous rain at temperatures above zero.
