SV Guntamatic Ried can still do it: With the 5-0 home win in the 2nd football league against Stripfing, the Innviertel team celebrated their first win of the spring season.
Coach Maximilian Senft’s team got off to a furious start: a corner from Jonas Mayer came via a detour to Wilfried Eza, who was spot on and made it 1-0 after nine minutes. Thanks to a dead ball, Ried was even able to extend the lead in the 14th minute: This time Mayer fed Fabian Wohlmuth, who headed it in.
The Vikings also got off to a dream start in the second half: First, Ante Bajic was denied by guest goalkeeper Sandali Conde in the 47th minute, and 18-year-old Arjan Malic used the rebound to make it 3-0. In the 53rd minute, Eza made it 4-0 after Bajic’s preparatory work. David Bumberger made the final score 5-0 in the 72nd minute.
Surprises in the starting line-up
The 25-year-old represented defense chief Nikki Havenaar yesterday – it wasn’t the only surprise in Ried’s starting eleven: top scorer Mark Grosse (8 goals) had to go to the bench, youngster Fabian Rossdorfer was allowed to start offensively with Eza and Bajic.
Benjamin Sammer also put his talent to the test: the 18-year-old replaced newcomer Lumor Agbenyenu in the 29th minute, who had to be substituted due to injury. The only negative news this evening.
