The 31-year-old Großraminger, who won his first World Cup race on the Reiteralm in February, is also in top form this winter. Twice – in Secret Garden (November 27th) and on Tuesday in Arosa – he made it into the grand finale, twice he missed the podium in fourth.

“It hurts a little in the heart because it’s much nicer to be among the top three,” admitted Rohrweck, who missed the start at the showdown in Arosa. “This sprint course does not forgive mistakes. But I am also a little proud of what I achieved. There were also tough fights.”

Andrea Limbacher, who collided with her ÖSV colleague Katrin Ofner on Tuesday on her way to eleventh place, also fell in the quarter-finals of yesterday’s team competition. Both incidents went smoothly. The Ofner / Takats duo took fourth place.
