Football fans will also need two subscriptions for the Champions League this season. Amazon Prime Video shows a game every Tuesday, including the second leg of the round of 16 between Bayern Munich and Lazio Rome. Kick-off takes place at 9 p.m.
All other games will be broadcast by the paid streaming provider Dazn, including the parallel game Real San Sebastian against Paris St. Germain.
On Wednesday, Dazn will broadcast the games Manchester City against FC Copenhagen and RB Leipzig against Real Madrid. The ball also starts rolling in these games from 9 p.m.
ZDF shows highlights of the Champions League on free TV
Moving images of the Champions League at no additional cost are only available on ZDF. The public television station will show summaries of the games from the last match day of the group phase for an hour on Wednesday from 11 p.m.
The rights for the UEFA Europa League and the Conference League are held by the RTL Group. All games from both competitions are shown on the paid streaming portal RTL+, including the matches between the German teams. Bayer Leverkusen will face Qarabag Agdam at 6:45 p.m.
