Dortmund won 2-1 at Werder Bremen, with Marcel Sabitzer seeing a red card shortly before half-time. Leipzig also beat Darmstadt 2-0 with a goal from Christoph Baumgartner. The spectators experienced a thrilling Rhine derby in the 3-3 draw between Mönchengladbach and 1. FC Köln.
In addition to Baumgartner, the Austrians shone particularly well as assist providers on Saturday in the Bundesliga.
