International Experimental Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament “Heavenly Grace”.  Day 1

On December 16, the first day of the unique tournament in rhythmic gymnastics “Heavenly Grace” ended at the VTB Arena in Moscow.

The audience saw the opening ceremony of the competition and the international tournament. The program included individual all-around, in which exercises with a hoop and a ball were announced. The day ended with a flash mob.

On the second day of the tournament, December 17, the individual all-around will be held, which will include exercises with a club and a ribbon. This will be followed by an awards ceremony and a gala concert.

The tournament is held at the initiative of the Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva. The main feature of the competition is that it is held on the basis of the 2001-2005 rules and the 2022-2024 rules.

The main criterion for selecting gymnasts to participate in the tournament was the results of the 2020 Olympics – girls from 11 national teams represented in Tokyo will perform at the “Heavenly Grace”. Athletes from four continents and 14 countries appeared before the fans.

The competition was attended by guests of honor, including the Olympic champions in rhythmic gymnastics.

The tournament is organized by the Alina Kabaeva Charitable Foundation. The general sponsor of the event is SOGAZ JSC. The tournament is not only aimed at improving and developing rhythmic gymnastics as an Olympic sport, but also involves the exchange of experience between coaches and judges from different schools and countries.
