Def. Unidos achieves a comeback and wins 3-1 against Gimnasia (Mendoza)

On date 6 of the Argentina tournament – First National Championship 2024, the host of the match between D. Unidos and Gimnasia celebrated this Sunday at the Gigante de Villa Fox stadium with a 3-1. The goals of the match for the local team were scored by Franco Lonardi (16′ 2T), Luis Olivera (34′ 2T) and Martín Peralta (53′ 2T). While the away goal was scored by Nicolás Romano (18′ 1T).

Franco Lonardi’s performance positioned him as the most outstanding player of the match. The forward of Def. Unidos showed his best level by scoring 1 goal.

For its part, Darío Alaniz’s team came out with a 4-4-2 tactical layout with Daniel Montagnino between the three sticks; Ismael Cortez, Franco Meritello, Maximiliano Padilla and Matías Recalde in defense; Ignacio Antonio, Nicolás Rinaldi, Leandro Ciccolini and Jeremías Puch in the midfield; and Nicolás Romano and Luis Silba up front.

Mauro Biasutto was the referee chosen for the match at the Gigante stadium in Villa Fox.

On the next date, D. Unidos will visit Nueva Chicago and Gimnasia will play at home against Atlanta.
