Italian Paolo Vanoli has become the new head coach of the Moscow football club “Spartak”. This was announced on December 16 by the coach’s agent Andrea D’Amico.
“Paolo has signed a contract with Spartak, the presentation and press conference will take place tomorrow,” he told RIA Novosti
Earlier that day, D’Amico called Spartak a club with a fantastic arena and an excellent sports center, Sport-Express reported.
On the eve it became known that Rui Vitoria left the post of the head coach of “Spartak”.
The press service of the team said that the football club needs a new vector to rise in the standings. It was clarified that the assistants of the coach will also leave FC: Arnaldo Teixeira, Sergio Botelou, Luis Esteves and Walter Dias.
The new head coach of Spartak Vanoli previously worked with the Italian youth teams, and also served as assistant coach to Antonio Conte in the first national team, Chelsea London and Inter Milan. The Moscow club became the first in a specialist’s career as a head coach.
