Who will achieve their first victory today in the Upper Austria derby of the regional football league? Both SPG Wels and Vöcklamarkt are still without a point after the first two games in 2024.

You wouldn’t have expected this, especially from the team from the trade fair city: Vöcklamarkt sports director Omer Tarabic is hoping that the promotion candidates are a little out of sorts after the two spring defeats and the resulting big gap to the top: “Maybe that’s playing us a little in the cards. We are still the blatant outsiders. The pressure is clearly on Wels, they had a completely different objective than us before the start of the season.”

Important for the Hausruckviertler: With Simon Würtinger, Lucas Purkrabek and Daniel Pointner, some of the recently missing kickers are returning.
