It is currently being considered that the women will even complete two competitions on Sunday. The World Cup defending champion Eva Pinkelnig supported the cancellation. “It’s totally windy conditions. They’re starting to tie things down here in the run-out. It’s not possible to do a ski flying World Cup today, so we’re packing up and recovering well.”
Pinkelnig hopes that the men will be able to fly in the afternoon and that they will be able to “learn a little something.” She wouldn’t mind two competitions on Sunday. “Of course we would all like that. Everyone is in favor of us even having two World Cups.”
