Arg. de Quilmes suffers a 2-1 defeat against Dep. Armenio

This Saturday, Armenio beat A. Quilmes 2-1 at home, in a match on date 8 of the Argentina tournament – Primera B Season Championship 2024. The goals of the match for the local team were scored by Tomás Jerez Sayago (6′ 2T) and Juan Barbieri (45′ 2T). While the away goal was scored by Alejo Osella (40′ 2T, against).

Juan Barbieri’s performance positioned him as the most outstanding player of the match. The Dep. Armenian striker showed his best level by scoring 1 goal.

Tomás Jerez Sayago also played a good game. The Dep. Armenio midfielder scored 1 goal.

In the match there were 2 reprimands: Brian Acosta and Cristian Rodríguez. He was sent off for a straight red card, Nahuel Troxler in the 58th minute of the second half.

Armenio’s strategist, Cristian Tula, stopped the starting eleven with a 4-3-3 formation with Iván López in goal; Cristian Rodríguez, Brian Acosta, Nahuel Troxler and Alejo Osella on the defensive line; Nahuel Sica, Tomás Jerez Sayago and Valentino Venetucci in the middle; and Juan Barbieri, Leandro Román and Matías Blanco in the attack.

For their part, those chosen by Gustavo Pinto took to the field with a 4-4-2 formation with Alejo Tello between the three sticks; Juan Pablo Vivas, Facundo Valdez, Facundo Lando and Gerardo Alegre Rojas in defense; Julián Vila, Bruno Miño, Angel Stringa and José Luis García in the midfield; and Álvaro López and Javier Martinez up front.

Guido Mascheroni was appointed as the main referee for the match at the Armenia stadium.

On the next day, Armenio will face Villa Dálmine as a visitor and A. Quilmes will play the home game against Comunicaciones.
