As on the previous day, Alessandro Hämmerle prevailed, in his 18th World Cup victory, the Olympic champion won ahead of world champion Jakob Dusek and the French Merlin Surget. In the women’s race, victory went to France thanks to Chloe Trespeuch, while Pia Zerkhold came in tenth. The season finale will take place next weekend in Mount Saint-Anne (Canada).
“Incredible. It was really intense, the audience pushed me. I’ve never managed two wins in one weekend. It’s great to share that with Jakob,” said the 30-year-old Hämmerle. It was his fifth success at home. Dusek was pleased that he was able to deliver after 13th place the day before: “I’m happy about that, it went extremely well.”
