Sara Marita Kramer could not be seen yesterday in Ramsau that the Salzburg woman had just won her fifth ski jumping of the season and the fourth in a row. The 20-year-old was 4.1 points ahead of the German Katharina Althaus and 7.7 points ahead of the Slovenian Ursa Bogataj.
Flying up and away from the competition week after week obviously does not meet Kramer’s demands. “Those were definitely not my best jumps,” said the World Cup leader noticeably afterwards. Especially with the second run, in which she lost ground on Althaus. Ultimately, however, too little for it to be exciting again. “I don’t know why I couldn’t find my flight system after the take-off,” said Kramer. The overall leader of the World Cup wants to investigate the cause in the upcoming training sessions. “But I can’t complain,” she added with a forgiving smile. It was her 13th World Cup victory, only Sara Takanashi (Jpn / 60), Maren Lundby (Nor / 30) and teammate Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (16) have more.

The latter came in sixth in the Ramsau. With Eva Pinkelnig (8th), Lisa Eder (11th) and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (13th) from Innviertel, three other ÖSV jumpers landed among the top 13.
It continues with the New Year’s Eve tournament in Ljubno (Slo), where there will be jumping in a knockout system on December 31st and January 1st. “This is something new,” said ÖSV trainer Harald Rodlauer.
From Innsbruck with fans
While it continues for the men in Engelberg today, the Four Hills Tournament is already casting its shadow. The ÖSV announced yesterday that Innsbruck (4.1.) Will be played in front of up to 4,000 spectators and Bischofshofen (6.1.) In front of up to 3,500. The German organizers recently announced that Oberstdorf (December 29th) and Garmisch-Partenkirchen (January 1st) will take place without fans.
