Ancelotti defended Vinicius and targeted Chilavert: “They speak to breathe air into their mouths without knowing”

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelottidefended the soccer player Vinicius Junior, after the former Paraguayan goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert assured that “football is for men” after the Brazilian’s complaints about racism.

Prior to the La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao, Ancelotti referred to the issue and rejected Chilavert’s statements: “They speak to give air to their mouths without knowing.”

“I think it doesn’t make much sense to comment on the statements of others who are not on the topic,” he said.

This happened after the former Paraguay goalkeeper said: “Bread and circuses, the first one to insult and attack rivals is him. Don’t let him be a faggot, football is for men.”

“When the Brazilian police beat the Argentine and Boca fans to death, where was Vinicius, who is an example of Brazil’s leaders? They beat the boys, women and veterans. When they beat you, everything is fine, but then “You disrespect them and they start crying,” Chilavert said.

Vinicius Junior’s claim for racism

For his part, Vinicius previously raised the claim in a press conference that ended in tears: “I’ve been watching this for a long time, and I feel more and more sad, I have less and less will to play.”

“Things can change. We black people know that because we are black we have to do twice as much. Equality is the best thing for everyone. The defense against racism is not strong enough to fight it. Only black people know what I am suffering,” stood out.

However, Chilavert was not the only one who attacked the Brazilian, since footballer Dani Parejo joined in: “He is an extraordinary, spectacular player, but we players have to dedicate ourselves to playing. There are going to be fights in every game and It seems that it is in all of them, it is a learning that I would have to work on.

“When you play for Madrid, there is always a special atmosphere, they always pick on the players, people always try to bite you. They call me drunk and I don’t get angry with people,” said the Villareal player.
