Ernö Doma, currently also assistant coach for the professionals, will take over the team from the Landesliga Ost together with the previous U18 coach, Svetislav Jagodic.
“We have now intensively analyzed the situation with the blue-white amateurs together. We can’t be satisfied with the last year and a half in particular – it’s not primarily about results, but more about the way we played football, “says sports director Tino Wawra.
The internal solution should bring the Linz amateur team back on track. Wawra: “We want to match the playing style of the amateurs to that of the professionals. Ernö Doma is now given a double function and we expect a lot from it.”
There could also be changes in the squad in winter. “In the future we want to rely a lot more on our own U18s and push these players. Despite the upcoming changes, we have the quality we need to keep the league.”
