Thanks to a 3-1 (0-0) home win in the basement duel against SV Wehen Wiesbaden, FC Hansa Rostock kept its chance of staying in the 2nd Bundesliga.
The goals for the hosts were scored by Damian Roßbach (51st), Kai Pröger (72nd) and Svante Ingelsson (90th + 4th) in front of 25,500 spectators. Ivan Prtajin (78th) scored for the guests, where Bjarke Jacobsen was shown red in the 52nd minute for serious foul play.

The winning goal for the guests was scored by Haris Tabakovic (90th minute), who scored his seventh goal in the last five games. The hosts, who had been superior for a long time, remained without a win for the fifth game in a row.
