The bottom of the ICE Hockey League is finding it difficult to go back to the agenda on Sunday after the bitter 4-5 home defeat after extra time against the penultimate Dornbirn. The Steinbach Black Wings feel they have been deprived of victory after the controversial goal they conceded to 4: 4 – allegedly three tenths of a second before the end of regular time – and protested against the score of the game yesterday morning.
The Linzers refer to the possibility, anchored in paragraph 9 of the “Game Book” under the title “Investigation Procedures”, to raise objections in the event of violations of fundamental rules.
“In none of the camera positions available to us it is evident that the puck crossed the goal line before the siren.
