Novak Djokovic broke Roger Federer’s record and is the oldest ATP No. 1

Novak Djokovicwhich will begin the clay court season on Tuesday in Monte Carloremains one more week as ATP number 1 and surpasses the record of Roger Federer as the oldest tennis player to occupy the top of world tennis.

With 36 years and 322 daysthe Serbian is two days older than the Swiss was the last time he occupied the No. 1 of a world ranking that premiered in August 1973.

Behind both of them are the Spanish Rafael Nadal (33 years and 244 days) and the American Andrew Agassi (33 years and 131 days).

The Italian Jannik Sinner retains second place with only 65 points ahead of the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in a Top 10 which only registers one change: the Polish Hubert Hurkaczwinner on Sunday of his first title on clay in Estorilrises two places and relegates the Norwegian Casper Ruud to 10th place.
