Tomorrow, Monday, ÖEHV team boss Roger Bader will gather his players in the Linz-AG ice arena for the first time since April 2022. The Black Wings cracks Emilio Romig, Nico Feldner, Niklas Bretschneider, Thomas Höneckl and, above all, youngster Patrick Söllinger can rely on their home advantage. You still have a chance of being in the squad for the A World Cup in Prague from May 11th. To do this, they have to prove themselves from week to week.

Reaction required after 0:6 debacle

The national team itself recently suffered severe setbacks. There were two clear defeats (2:5, 0:6) against the B nation Slovenia, who started their preparation for the B World Cup much earlier. In the first week, the ÖEHV team was able to live well with two shootout defeats away in Riga. But being shot out 6-0 in front of their own crowd in Villach hurt the souls of many fans.
