The football club Borussia Dortmund last reached the final of the Champions League in 2013. Now it’s that time again: Mats Hummels scored the decisive goal.

The Bundesliga soccer team Borussia Dortmund prevailed in the semi-final second leg at Paris Saint-Germain thanks to a 1-0 (0-0). National player Mats Hummels scored with a header shortly after half-time (50th minute). BVB also won the first leg 1-0. The opponents on June 1st at London’s Wembley Stadium are FC Bayern Munich or Real Madrid, who will meet on Wednesday evening (9 p.m./DAZN) (first leg: 2-2). If Bayern manage to win, a repeat of the premier class showdown between the two German clubs in London in 2013 would be perfect.

As with the 1-0 win six days earlier in Dortmund, BVB offered the favored star ensemble around exceptional player Kylian Mbappé a passionate fight in front of almost 50,000 spectators at the Parc des Princes and is in the final of the Champions League for the third time after 1997 and 2013. On the other hand, the long wait for a triumph in the most important European competition continues for the Paris club, which is supported by Qatar at great financial expense. PSG was unlucky with several hits on the post and crossbar.
