The pilot Tiago Pernía, with Renault, won an arduous race and won the 2000 Juan María Traverso Tourism Competition Grand Prixwhich was run in San Nicolás, within the framework of the third date of the contest.
The racer, son of the current TC2000 champion Leonel Pernía, aboard his Renault Fluence achieved a notable performance in his first season in the category, as he took the victories in the races on Saturday and Sunday.
Pernía, born in Dallas (United States), the victory was disputed with the Uruguayan Juan Ignacio Teskewho managed to break his lead by a few meters but the pilot, who is making his first weapons, recovered and took the lead until the checkered flag.
Once reaching the finish line, the winner of the race beat the debutant from Uruguay by 1s 794/1000.
The podium completed it Bernardo Llaver with his Honda. Then the Toyotas arrived. Facundo Aldrighetti and Matías Rossifollowed by Figgo Bessone (Renault), Franco Vivian (Honda), Emiliano Stang (Fiat) and Ignacio Méndez (Chevrolet).
With this result, Pernía is positioned in first place in the contest with 46 points, followed by Llaver with 43 and closes the pedestal with third position Aldrighetti, who has 40 units.
