It remains unclear who will coach FC Bayern next season. Regardless of Thomas Tuchel’s successor, the biggest problem remains unsolved, according to a former international.
From the point of view of ex-national player Michael Ballack, the upcoming commitment of a successor to coach Thomas Tuchel is not the biggest problem at FC Bayern Munich.
“After a season without a title, you have to approach the team and make drastic changes. The season before that didn’t go well for FC Bayern, they lost their dominance, but Julian Nagelsmann was there until spring 2023 – also a good one, like Tuchel Coach. The construction site is the team,” said the 47-year-old in an interview with “Sport Bild”.
FC Bayern finished the Bundesliga season in third place and missed the championship for the first time since 2012. In February, the club announced the agreed separation from Tuchel. Since then it has not been possible to sign a successor. In the meantime, Tuchel’s stay was apparently even considered, but no agreement was reached.
