Russian athlete Daria Klishina does not plan to engage in coaching after the end of her career. The athlete announced this on Monday, December 27, in an interview with RT.
Klishina explained that she does not see herself in the role of a mentor, and she would like to share her experience, but not as a main coach.
“Rather, I see myself as a consultant who conducts short sessions for other coaches and athletes. And if I receive such offers, I will gladly agree. But I will not have the patience to be a full-fledged coach, ”said Klishina.
She noted that from childhood she was given the “ideal jumping technique”, and this is the merit of the most technically strong Russian school: in America, coaches admire this technique and do not consider it necessary to correct it. Klishina added that after moving to the States, she received a different experience – speed, dynamic work, running technique and, in general, building a workflow.
While the athlete is thinking about what she will do when she decides to end her career. She recently started working with the young Canadian brand DRYWORLD, which produces sportswear, and has already managed to release one collection, and a second is on its way.
