“I would like the world championship to be suspended. People get sick, the sports principle disappears. How does Matvey feel? First came a positive coronavirus test. We immediately did an express test – the answer was negative, ”said the hockey player’s father.
He added that Andrey made another test, the indicator of which will become the key.
“We have suspicions that it was some kind of provocation. It’s just that the Americans yesterday, too, did not have a virus in ordinary people – in the captain and in the key players of the national team. It turns out strange that the coronavirus is detected in the key players of the national teams, ”Michkov Sr. shared his suspicions.
He stressed that the team went “to solve big problems for gold”, and what is happening excludes even attempts.
Earlier, on December 29, due to a positive test of the striker of the Russian national team Andrei Michkov, the Russians were credited with a forfeit defeat in the World Youth Championship match against Slovakia.
