There was great celebration at USV Neuhofen over their promotion from the Southern District League to the Western Regional League. The celebrations were not only held at home, but also on the Balearic island of Mallorca. Now the Neuhofen team is setting the course for the coming season. As the OÖN learned, there are three main coaches in charge. Thomas Reifeltshammer, who most recently led the team with Heinz Etzlinger, will train the “Celtics”, as the Neuhofen team is known, together with Marcel Ziegl and Markus Friedwagner.
Ziegl ended his active career at SV Ried just a few weeks ago. Reifeltshammer, who hung up his football boots in 2021, and Ziegl played 667 competitive games together for SV Ried. Ziegl played 351 times, Reifeltshammer 316 times. There are ongoing talks with Heinz Etzlinger about a commitment to the 1b team of USV Neuhofen.
